About Me

I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) with a passion for debunking nutrition myths.

My overarching goal as an RDN is to clear up skepticism surrounding food. Nutrition doesn’t have to be confusing. In fact, it’s pretty simple.

Nutrition misinformation is rampant on social media and the internet. As an expert in nutrition, it’s my job (and desire) to make sure you don’t fall for common nutrition myths and potential pitfalls.

While it’s true that nutrition is essential to health, you won’t ruin your health by eating a burger or ice cream for dinner. There’s no “perfect diet,” and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. All foods can fit.

I obtained a master’s degree in nutrition and became an RDN in 2018. After beginning my nutrition career in oncology, the personal and global craziness of 2020 led me to leave that role and pursue writing. Since then, I’ve created nutrition courses, ghostwritten a book, and written numerous articles for health websites like VeryWell Health.

When I’m not writing, I’m taking care of my 2 darling girls, running the trails of Colorado, or watching shows with my husband.
